Straddling the Tennessee–Georgia state line atop its namesake ridge, Lookout Mountain is really two towns in one — Lookout Mountain, Tennessee (Hamilton County) and Lookout Mountain, Georgia (Walker County) — sharing one of the most famous mountaintops in the Southeast. This is the home of Rock City, Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway, Point Park in the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, Sunset Rock, and Fairyland, with Covenant College sitting on the Georgia brow. The neighborhoods here are a mix of historic stone cottages, mid-century homes, and bluff-view estates, many with steep driveways and mountain-view lots that demand careful equipment placement. TriStateDumpIt delivers roll-off dumpster rentals to both the Tennessee and Georgia sides of the mountain — for high-end renovations, whole-house cleanouts, roofing tear-offs, estate projects and sales, vacation-rental turnovers, and new construction on the brow. Our drivers are experienced with mountain grades and tight hillside driveways, and every rental includes a 14-day rental period, flat-rate pricing, and no hidden fees. When Lookout Mountain needs a dumpster, TriStateDumpIt is the local company that actually shows up — book online in minutes or call us.

TriStateDumpIt prices are the same on both sides of the state line: $250 for a 12-yard dumpster, $325 for a 16-yard, $415 for a 20-yard, and $625 for a 30-yard. Every price includes delivery, pickup, disposal, and a 14-day rental period. Overweight fees may apply if you exceed the included tonnage.
In most cases, yes — our drivers deliver all over the mountain and are experienced with steep grades and hillside lots. If your driveway is extremely steep or narrow, call (256) 548-6021 before booking and we'll plan the safest drop spot, which is sometimes the flattest part of the lot or the street edge.
No permit is needed if the dumpster sits on your private property, such as a driveway. If you need street placement, check with the Town of Lookout Mountain, TN or the City of Lookout Mountain, GA — whichever side you're on.
Mountain homes often have stone, heavy timber, and older roofing materials that add up fast. A single-room remodel usually fits the 12-yard ($250); multi-room renovations typically need the 20-yard ($415); whole-house guts and new brow construction call for the 30-yard ($625) with 4 tons included.
No hazardous materials: no paint, chemicals, batteries, tires, fuel, oil, asbestos, or electronics. Standard project debris — stone, wood, drywall, shingles, furniture, brush — is all accepted.
Every TriStateDumpIt rental in Lookout Mountain includes a 14-day rental period. Mountain projects and contractor schedules can shift, so if you need more time, just call us — extensions are available.
The 12-yard and 16-yard dumpsters include 2 tons of weight each, and the 30-yard includes 4 tons. Weight over the included amount is billed at our standard per-ton rate. See the 20-yard dumpster page for its current rental terms.
Yes. Our mountain route covers both Lookout Mountain towns plus Fairyland, the foot of the mountain in St. Elmo, and down into Flintstone and Rossville, Georgia — all on the same local delivery schedule.

If your load exceeds the included tonnage (2 tons on the 12- and 16-yard, 4 tons on the 30-yard), the extra weight is charged at our standard per-ton rate. Heads-up for mountain jobs: stone, concrete, and old roofing are dense — size up if your debris is heavy.
Some Lookout Mountain neighborhoods and HOAs have rules about container placement and how long one can sit out — our standard 14-day rental fits most requirements. Check your HOA's rules before booking, and we will work with you on placement and timing.
Yes. Builders and remodelers working on the brow and in Fairyland use us for new construction, high-end renovations, and roofing jobs. Call (256) 548-6021 for multi-container or repeat business.
Clear the drop spot of vehicles, trim low branches over the driveway, and make sure the driver has a clear path up. On steep lots, the flattest available area near the street often works best — we will confirm the spot with you.
Call us and we'll swap in an empty container so your project keeps moving. Swaps are common on whole-house renovations and new construction.
Renovating a mountain home and need somewhere to keep furniture and materials? Our mobile storage units rent for just $175/month. We deliver the unit to your Lookout Mountain property and you load it on your schedule.
